My daughter has been to Kate’s swimming school for just over a term and her confidence and ability in the water has improved greatly. I’m thrilled with her progress especially during the week’s intensive course which we booked for the summer holidays. Kate is an excellent teacher, who works really hard to build the children’s confidence and trust, giving them a secure space to practice. The classes are a lovely size, the children get lots of practice and don’t spend too much time waiting for a turn and getting cold (a problem we’ve had with other swim schools.) After initially refusing to get in the water, my daughter soon started to love her lessons and we can’t wait to be back for our next term. Thank you Kate

So impressed with how my daughter has developed in just attending 4 days of the summer intensive course. She went from holding her nose and not being confident putting her head under water to swimming under water and you can see how proud of herself she is. We have Richard to thank for this huge boost and have now booked weekly lessons to continue her progress.

Was very anxious meeting people after having my child. The small classes really helped me socialise with other mums. Really friendly environment and teachers are great.

We tried 2 other swim schools before discovering Kate’s and the lovely pool at Staplecross and the team at Kate’s are brilliant! Small group sizes with 2 instructors in the water with them so they can all swim pretty continuously so not spending lots of time getting cold and bored at the side. The pool is warm and clean. Best of all my boys have had fun and learnt to swim well and confidently! Thank you Kate’s team!

My 6 year old daughter wasn’t a big fan…
My 6 year old daughter wasn’t a big fan of water, especially having her hair washed. Even after a few lessons with Charlotte her confidence grew. After a year of swimming lessons she is like a fish who loves water, especially swimming under water.

Friendly, patient instructors
My son started with Kate’s Swimming three years ago, a hesitant beginner. However, he is now a confident swimmer and lover of the water, thanks to all the wonderful, patient and friendly instructors at Kate’s Swimming!
The small fun classes in a warm pool at Leeds Village really boosted his enthusiasm for the water and now at the larger Sutton Valence pool, his confidence, stamina and technique has grown!
My daughter also now joins him in classes, improving her technique and physical skill for her D of E award.
